Bella Vista Vineyard Cottage is only one hours drive north of Auckland city, or one and a half hours drive north from Auckland International Airport.

Driving from the south, on State Highway 1, turn right at the second set of traffic lights at Warkworth and then follow the signs taking you to your left towards Matakana, Omaha and Leigh. Follow Matakana Road past Ascension Vineyard and Matakana Estate Winery until you reach Sharp Road on your right. Turn right into Sharp road, go past Heron's Flight vineyard and you will find Monarch Downs Way 1km further along on your right.
